We went for our first paddle down the Black Warrior River.
The barges coming from Nucor steel plant are a big reminder of the steel plant just off the river.
I've lived near the plant all my life and never payed it much mind. It looks quite different from the water.
Just past the plant there is a smaller creek, I guess you'd call it. It was quite nice and quiet.
The creek was like a different body of water all together.
I'll post more of the creek pictures in a later post.
